The foundation of the Oman Aircraft Control College is the result of a collaboration of between the Government of Oman, acting through the Royal Air Force of Oman and BAE Systems Integrated System Technologies. We have a history of successfully working together for over a quarter of a century.

Additionally, we have close links with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and Meteorology (DGCAM) who have supplied specialist ATC instructors to the college and who also approve all college civil ATC courses.

Our staff supported DGCAM during the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) working groups on the forthcoming introduction of Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM) and have developed a series of customer specific courses in this specialist field.

We are able to draw on the international expertise from BAE Systems Integrated System Technologies to ensure that all courses remain up to date and pertinent.

Our broad systems and training support organisation is complemented by our sister training colleges located in the UK, specialising in air traffic control, engineering, battle management and air defence disciplines.
